Vegetable plants usually include courgette, tomato, pumpkin, squashes, cabbage, sprouting broccoli, Brussels sprouts, calabrese, sweet peppers, aubergine, cucumber, peas, beans (runners, climbing French, borlotta), leeks, sweetcorn, kale, chard, basil, lettuce, beetroot.

Flowering plants usually include annuals (snapdragon, petunia, french marigold, aster, million bells) and perennials (aquilegia, coreopsis, verbena, foxglove, achillea, delphinium, sedum, gaillardia)

Plant Pots

Thanks very much to all who've previously donated / returned pots to the bin or box outside the Trading Shed.

Three requests:

1) If there is no bin or box, please don't leave your pots.

2) No thanks - nothing bigger than 1.5 litres. We simply don't need them. Leaving them is just the same as dumping them. We have to pick them up, store them, and arrange to take them to the Recycling Centre where they go into the general waste. If you don't want them, please take them home and put them in your grey rubbish bin.

3) Yes please - small pots are most useful, definitely needed and appreciated, and save us buying yet more plastic!

Thanks again!

The plant growing team
